2023 Christmas Break

Please find below dates for HPMV Higher Mass and Overweight Permit issuing over the Christmas / New Year period.

  • Last day for receipt of Overweight and HPMV Permit applications - Friday 08 December 2023
  • Last day for issuing of Overweight and HPMV Permits - Friday 15th December 2023
  • First day for issuing of Overweight and HPMV Permits - Monday 08 January 2024

Our Waka Kotahi Permitting team will be taking a deserved break during the days leading up to the New Year (27, 28 and 29 December 2023), we will have a skeleton staff available to issue emergency permits.

New and Renewal 50MAX and Overlength applications will commence 03 January 2024.

Register an account

By creating a user account you will be able to speed up your application time. You can easily save your company details so that you won’t have to populate them for each application. You will also be able to view the status of your application and edit applications, where you have either got details incorrect or you wish to submit a new application.
NB: it is not required to create a user account and applications can still be submitted without one.
